From day one, I trusted Tom completely. I never questioned a session because I knew he had the experience and knowledge to guide me. Over the months, that trust turned into PBs, podiums, and a Backyard Ultra performance that changed my life. Tom isn't just a coach who writes training plans, he's there every step of the journey, offering support when it matters most. If you have a goal that feels impossible, Tom is the person you want in your corner.

I started with Tom in May 2026 after a not-so-good experience with the Runna app, which is an AI-generated coaching programme. It quickly became quite aggressive for me to follow, even though it was a Couch to 5K programme.

I didn't know where to go, so I reached out to a local running club for advice, and the majority of people recommended Tom. I got in touch and honestly haven't looked back.

From not being able to continually run more than 1.5K, I am now regularly running 5K and longer, all due to Tom's guidance and his advice to trust the process.

I was sceptical at first about not meeting in person or attending running classes, but I needn't have worried. Tom's experience, knowledge, and patience shine through. Especially as I have diabetes and prostate cancer, Tom understands that sometimes health gets in the way and adjusts the programmes accordingly. The same goes for injuries. Tom is so patient and adapts everything to suit you.

Tom asked me to give him three months to start with, and if it wasn't working, we would part ways. Honestly, I can't see this partnership ending any time soon. I now feel so confident, and at almost 60 years old, I'm so excited to see where this journey will take me.

I could not recommend Tom enough.

When I first started working with Tom, I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd tried following training plans before, but I always found myself losing motivation, getting injured, or wondering if I was actually doing the right sessions.

From the very beginning, Tom took the time to understand my goals, my current fitness, and the time I could realistically commit to training. Every session has a purpose, and having someone there to explain the "why" behind the training has made a huge difference.

The biggest thing for me has been the support. Whether it's adjusting my training around work, family life, or the odd niggle, Tom is always quick to respond and make sure I'm still moving towards my goals without overdoing it.

I've become a stronger, more confident runner, and I'm now achieving things I never thought I'd be capable of. More importantly, I'm enjoying my running more than ever because I trust the process and know I've got someone in my corner who genuinely wants to see me succeed.

If you're thinking about getting a coach but aren't sure if it's worth it, I'd say go for it. Working with Tom has been one of the best decisions I've made for my running, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, whatever your experience or ability.

I originally signed up with Tom for the running coaching, but adding in the in-person PT sessions has been one of the best decisions I've made.

The gym sessions aren't just about working hard they're designed to make me a better runner. Every exercise has a reason behind it. Having Tom there to coach my technique and push me when I need it means I get so much more out of every session than I ever did training on my own.

One thing that really stands out is how invested Tom is in every athlete. He celebrates the wins, helps you through the tougher weeks, and always makes time to answer questions or explain why you're doing certain sessions. You never feel like just another client.

The structure and accountability have made a huge difference to my consistency. Knowing someone is tracking my progress and genuinely cares about how I'm getting on keeps me motivated, even when life gets busy.

I've noticed improvements not only in my running but in my overall strength, confidence, and mindset. I feel fitter than I have in ever, and I'm excited to keep building towards bigger goals.
